Växjö Kommun lies in Southern Sweden and is divided between municipal, nine boards and eight administrations. The municipality employs over 7000 people. After the election in September 2014, the Moderate Party, the Center Party, the Green Party, the Liberals and the Christian Democrats (Teal Växjö), controls the municipality. Together they have a majority of seats in the city council, the council and the company.

Within Växjö municipality we have an increasing number of young adults dropping out from school. We see that the need for new methods and tools is increasing as well as valuable input from other countries’ experiences in Europe. This is since mental health among the target group is also increasing. We also have a problem getting students back to school after dropping out.
